Finding Nemo

Finding Nemo is about a young fish who gets taken from his father, so Nemo's father must travel to the end of the ocean to find him, on the way encountering sharks, jellyfish, and turtles. The main characters include, Marlin(Nemo's Dad) Dory, and Nemo.

When Nemo gets taken after disobeying his father, Marlin sets out to rescue his son, along the way he meets Dory who helps him find Nemo, although Dory is a very disoriented and confused fish so at times she does not act logical, which Marlin finds quite troublesome. Along the way they meet sharks who take them to their hideout and while the sharks try not to eat the fish, the leader(Bruce) is too tempted and attacks them. Along the way they meet many different fish such as Turtles, Jellyfish, and whales. Meanwhile Nemo is trapped in a fish-tank at the dentists office and meets the other fish in there who are trying to escape. They tell Nemo that he needs to climb through the filter and clog it with a rock so that eventually the Dentist takes them out of the tank and they can roll out into the sea in plastic bags. Eventually Merlin makes it to the doctors office with some help from a bird. Nemo is in a plastic bag at the time getting ready to be taken away and pretends to be dead so he can be flushed down a drain that leads to the sea, Merlin sees this and is very upset until Nemo finds him in which they reunite and go home.

Finding Nemo is a great Disney movie for kids, It has a great story and is well suited for all ages.

Spirited Away was Produced by Studio Ghibli

Spirited Away is about a Girl named Chihiro who gets stuck in a secret world when her and her parents attempt to explore it. Chihiro's parents get caught in a trap that temps humans to eat the food that the habitats of the world lay out, If the humans eat the food they become as fat as pigs, never to be returned to their homes. Chihiro must rescue her parents and get them home before she can't recognize them anymore.

The movie was originally written and produced in Japanese but with such a hit, Studio Ghibli wanted to expand the target audience from one nation to many, eventually It was reproduced in English by Donald Ernst. Once the English version of the movie came out it was a big hit!

Wednesday's newscast

I feel the newscast on Wednesday was good, I could have split up the stories better but other then that I feel that the newscast went well

Reason for missing class

The reason I was not in class on Thursday August 28th is because I had a cross-country meet. We went to a park near Pallotti High school where there was a nice course we could run. It was nice and shady with a few hills, not manage. Even though the meet was just a skirmish we would have won, taking the first 5 places in the race. Our coach has been working us hard to prepare us for the upcoming season which will be hard this year.
