Reason for missing class

The reason I was not in class on Thursday August 28th is because I had a cross-country meet. We went to a park near Pallotti High school where there was a nice course we could run. It was nice and shady with a few hills, not manage. Even though the meet was just a skirmish we would have won, taking the first 5 places in the race. Our coach has been working us hard to prepare us for the upcoming season which will be hard this year.
